Bash For Cash Info

The Bash for Cash is this weekend, time to get out and shake the rust off! Below you will find the information for our team hotel, along with information for all of the parks being used this weekend. Our location should be a very short drive from our hotel, but bad weather can change anything.

Rick has talked to the Tournament Director about possible location changes and has requested that if at all possible, we need to stay at the parks that were originally designated for our portion of the tournament. I will be heading down around 1PM Friday, and plan on going to watch the HR Derby, and some of our local Cleveland teams play in the Friday Round Robin at Kolping Park.

FINAL BCS CHAMPIONSHIP SQUARES BOARD

Welcome!

Welcome to Iron Horse Softball 2010. The team name is a reference to Lou Gehrig who was nicknamed “Iron Horse”. Sadly Lou Gehrig had his brilliant career cut short by a devastating disease known at the time to be called ALS. After Gehrig ended his playing career and succumbed to the disease, ALS soon came to be known as Lou Gehrigs Disease.

In 2005, my father, who was my biggest fan and supporter began to have some health issues. He was diagnosed with Lou Gehrigs disease in 2006 and passed away in November 2007 at the age of 55. This team is a tribute to my father and I hope this team can play with the fire and spirit that he displayed when fighting this deadly disease.
